Ome Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: 18 October 2026

This policy explains how the Ome team handles information when you use the Ome Android preview and this website. Contact: omepartyteam@gmail.com.

Current preview: Google sign-in, profiles, text messaging, notifications and live voice rooms are being prepared and tested. Media uploads, earning, salary and payout services are not active. We will update this policy before enabling features that change our data practices.

Support messages and deletion requests you send usAnswer questions, confirm account ownership and process requests.

2. Google sign-in and Google user data

Ome uses Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication for account creation and login. The sign-in uses basic identity information: your Google identifier, verified email, name and profile picture. Ome does not request Gmail inbox, Google Drive, Calendar or contact-list access.

We use Google account data for authentication, profile display, account security and support. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Our server credentials are kept on the server, and your Google password is not sent to Ome.

3. What other people can see

Your public Ome ID, name, profile picture, bio, gender and country may be visible to other signed-in members after profile setup. Your email, Google identifiers and wallet information are not included in public profile/search responses. Incomplete profiles are visible only to their owner.

Direct-message recipients receive the content you send them. Room participants can hear shared audio and see room chat and public participation details. Use care when sharing personal information in conversations.

4. Live audio and device permissions

Microphone permission is used for live audio when you choose to speak. This preview does not enable server-side recording of live room audio. Other participants may independently capture audio they hear. Leaving a room or disabling your microphone stops your participation or audio sharing as controlled in the app.

The app may request access to audio files so you can select or play music. Notification permission controls Android notification-bar delivery. You can revoke permissions in Android settings. The current preview does not request direct camera access.

5. Providers and authorized access

Google Firebase processes authentication and notification data as a service provider. Our hosting and real-time communication infrastructure processes information needed to operate the app. Authorized support or administrative staff may access stored service data for support, security and moderation. Providers may process data outside your country.

We may disclose information when required by applicable law or when necessary to investigate abuse and protect the service. We do not make your private messages public as part of normal app operation.

6. Storage, retention and security

Ome uses its own application database and sessions. Profile and conversation records are retained to provide the service until they are removed through an available feature or an account/data deletion request is processed. Session credentials expire or are revoked; access credentials have a one-hour maximum lifetime, and a session family has a maximum lifetime of 30 days unless renewed through sign-in.

We use HTTPS for app API connections, restricted server credentials and account-based access controls. Notification pushes carry an event reference; the app retrieves message content with the signed-in account’s session. Message delivery uses server storage; this policy does not describe the service as end-to-end encrypted.

Some information may need to be retained for applicable legal requirements or a specific security/abuse investigation. If this applies to a deletion request, we will identify the affected information and reason when responding.

7. Your choices and account deletion

You can sign out, change available profile details, control microphone and notification permissions, and request deletion of your Ome account and associated data. Requests are currently handled by support. See Account and data deletion or email omepartyteam@gmail.com. We verify ownership before processing a request. Do not send your password, verification codes or identity documents in an initial request.

Deleting Ome does not delete your Google account. You may also remove Ome’s access from your Google account settings; revoking Google access is separate from requesting deletion of stored Ome data.

8. This website

These public information pages do not require sign-in and do not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting/network providers necessarily process connection information to serve the pages. Email links open your chosen mail service; sending an email shares the information you include with our support address.

9. Changes and contact

We will publish changes on this page with an updated effective date and provide additional notice in the app where appropriate. Questions about this policy or your information can be sent to omepartyteam@gmail.com.
